School Specialty Science provides teachers with high-quality, preK-12 activity-based science and math curriculum, supplemental materials, and classroom resources that provide effective, engaging learning experiences for students. We seek a marketing copywriter for our Nashua NH office. The writer will create concepts and copy for marketing materials to be presented via print and electronic media. This will include catalogs, brochures, advertisements, web page copy, presentations, and other promotional materials.

 

Typical functions include working with other members of the marketing and creative team to discuss objectives and content, writing copy, organizing projects for design and production, proofreading, and seeing projects through to successful completion.

 

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years experience as a marketing or advertising copywriter. The ideal candidate will be proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office and will be familiar with how designers use software such as Quark, Photoshop, and Indesign. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, verbal communication, and the ability to manage a variety of creative projects are also necessary. A knowledge of educational marketing or publishing would be a strong plus.
